We built Magical Moments to be different.
We don't believe therapy should feel like an obligation your child dreads. Our naturalistic approach teaches skills through play, family routines, and real-life activities your child already does. We help your child succeed in real-life moments that matter to your family, not just our data sheets.
Therapy delivered in your home where your child is most comfortable. Our North Carolina-licensed BCBAs design programs focused on real skills - like teaching your child to ask for their favorite snack instead of grabbing, to play independently while you make dinner, or to get dressed without a battle every morning. Learning happens in the environment where they'll use these skills daily.
Each family works with a consistent Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) who delivers direct therapy, typically 2-4 sessions per week depending on your child's individualized plan. Your Board Certified Behavior Analyst supervises every case, observing sessions regularly, adjusting programs based on data, and providing ongoing parent coaching. Most families see their BCBA at least twice per month for observation and feedback sessions.
We partner with Calabash Public Schools to support classroom success. Our BCBAs attend IEP meetings, coordinate with teachers, and help with challenges like staying in their seat during circle time, transitioning between activities, or asking the teacher for help appropriately. We also work with families whose children attend Wilmington City Public Schools or other nearby districts.
We serve families throughout Calabash and surrounding communities within 30 minutes of Calabash, including Wilmington, Bolivia, Winnabow, and Wilmington areas.
